The new split spacebar to backspace function on the Sculpt Comfort Keyboard is a perfect example. Research has shown that 90 percent of people used to only the right thumb to press the spacebar and the backspace key is one of the most used keys on the keyboard. Based on this knowledge, Microsoft Hardware designers a larger, split spacebar designed with a backspace on the left sidebar. The new design promotes faster typing and offers improved comfort.
